Notebook Becomes Great Study Tool

Have students keep a notebook of notes, classroom assignments, tests, and quizzes. At the end of each six weeks, conduct a notebook check and require that the contents of the notebook be in a certain order. The notebook check is a test grade. At the end of the semester the students have an organized portfolio of everything completed in the course which is a great study tool.
