What is Vista™? Is it right for you? Vista is the new operating system from Microsoft®. Find out how this new software can help users collaborate more efficiently. Want a sneak preview? Click Vista's Features button to discover what Vista has to offer. One of the new features is the Windows sidebar. The sidebar allows users to add shortcuts to features like picture slide shows, Windows Media® Player controls, or news headlines. Teachers can work more efficiently and be organized by customizing the sidebar applications.
Internet Explorer® 7
Viewing multiple Web pages at the same time is possible with Internet Explorer® 7 (IE7). Users can see thumbnail views of each open site on one page. Better yet, multiple pages can be saved as a group and placed in favorites. Teachers can organize reference sites quickly and easily for future use. IE7 has improved security features thereby keeping your data safer. Web pages also automatically fit the paper size when trying to print a Web page.
